more detailed description of the issue in url/ml thread. getting this warning when starting mcs-manager : (xfce-mcs-manager:552): xfce-mcs-manager-WARNING **: Module /usr/local/lib/xfce4/mcs-plugins/sound_settings.so cannot be opened (Cannot load specified object) Other mcs-plugins are correctly loaded/shown (apart xscreensaver_settings.so, but i assume it's normal as xscreensaver is not available/installed), and all plugins are installed in the same directory : /usr/local/lib/xfce4/mcs-plugins/ file says : /usr/local/lib/xfce4/mcs-plugins/sound_settings.so: ELF 32-bit LSB shared object, Intel 80386, version 1, not stripped Any idea ?
Closing it/invalid, this was a bogus switch passed to configure which borked the build. sorry for the noise.
