User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.2) Gecko/20061201 Firefox/2.0.0.2 (Ubuntu-feisty) Build Identifier: It would be handy to have the mounted devices and bookmarks submenus in the "Go" menu of Thunar. Right now the only way to access the bookmarks is by enabling the side panel, and the only way to access devices (not mounted yet) is through the desktop icons or side panel. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set Thunar to show the minimal interface 2. Disable desktop icons 3. Try to mount a CD Actual Results: You need to either use an external command or enable the panel for a moment, just to get to the CD. Expected Results: I should be able to mount the CD by selecting an option from the menu. An alternative solution that could work equally well could be a "Places" panel applet that would display a menu similar to Thunar's Go menu, with the devices and bookmarks included. Another solution I could use would be to make a launcher for Thunar that'd make it go to the CD -- but I don't know any way to simulate the clicking on a device icon in Thunar with a command line option -- just passing the path to /media/cdrom won't mount the device.
It is no good to expose functionality everywhere. It will clutter up the menu. With the bookmarks already shown in the go menu, this can already grow very long.
