I tra to start thunar from shell
but nothing happens

my system is a gentoo, installed over normal ebuilds

Sorry nothing happens is not right afte nearly 10min the mainScreen is poped up

So Thunar is propably hanging on a system call or something. Use strace to figure out the cause.

strace summary was that thunar try to connect to 127.0.0.1
but the localinterface was not started 
after starting local interface all works fine
