However, the device name for my flashdisk and my digital camera will both be something like „sda[N]“. But I have set up udev rules so that a symlink with a more meaningfullier name („flashdisk“ and „exilim“) are created under /dev for each device. Could Thunar somehow get to know the names of these symlinks and show them instead in the sidebar? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
This is something for HAL then, as we simply use the device file name provided by HAL.
