i would like an undo feature for thunar. for example when you accidently move files into a wrong folder or to the trash, then you just press ctrl+z and the files are moved back.
same for renaming.

Definitely later, nothing for an RC2->final transition. ;-)
Comment 2 Bj 2006-11-06 21:19:26 CET
yeah, i wanted to change to target milestone but i tried to find it while doing the feature request and forgot about changing it after that..
this was planned to be for after the 1.0 release of course :)

Any interest in picking this up anyone? Also is it possible for someone with enough admin privileges to change this bug title to e.g. "Option to undo delete / move / rename" as "undo feature" doesn't intuitively cover the bug, and this enhancement request has popped up lots of times in various places by various users, but they aren't getting to this bug in order to add weight to it.

Cheers!

Reported 2006 ... That's sad. I would like this to see this feature in the future too. I wouldn't need it so often in the first place, if drag&drop wasn't kinda bugged. Sometimes it just auto drops or drops through the window I actually wanted to drag it to. It then drops into the tree view of another window, so that I have to run a full 'find' to undo that.
