guiseppe removed the -n switch today. -d now creates archives too. the archive plugin needs to be updated.
This has nothing to do with thunar-archive-plugin, but xarchiver.tap has to be updated. Guiseppe already send an email about this, but I'm currently busy preparing papers for a course. I'll look into this later.
Ok, thanks for the information.
fixed
Hey - I'm not sure if this is the same bug or not, but I'm unable to create archives with xarchiver. Right clicking on a file and clicking "Create Archive" yields the error "Failed to create archive. No suitable archive manager found". Right clicking on an archive and using either the "Extract Here" or "Extract To" options both work fine and use the proper program, so I'm not sure if this is still a problem with the tap file, or my setup, or what. I apologize if this is a different problem.
I should probably add, when I say I can't create archives, I mean using the thunar-archive plugin, not in general.
Did you guys run update-desktop-database $(datadir)/applications after installing xarchiver?
