Crash occurs for every panel plugin, so it's does not depend on particular plugin. My environment: 1) Ubuntu Linux 5.10 2) Xfce 4, version 4.3.90.2 (Xfce 4.4 BETA1), SVN version compiled 2 days ago Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Right-click on some panel plugin e.g. launcher icon 2. Select Properties option from the context menu 3. Crash! Actual Results: Xfce panel crashes and disappears. I have to restart X Window. I'm going to attach screenshots presenting console with error messages thrown by Xfce panel. I hope I'll manage to attach the shot to this report. Expected Results: Open Properties dialog box for selected panel element.

I found similar Bug Report, but slightly different. It's Bug 1774 "Panel crash when clicking on the task list icon" I'm adding this information, because those bugs may relate to the same problem.
This was fixed in revision 21876, at least fo rthe launcher plugin. Thanks for pointing me to the other bug, it does indeed look similar. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 1859 ***
