Please don't change bug priorities: an important bug to you may not be important to us. This bug has certainly been reported before, but I don't feel like digging for it right now. In any case, I'm pretty sure the application needs to support startup notification for this to work, and ooffice most likely does not.
hmm well maybe so how can you explain that, it's working in kde ?
KDE has voodoo magic? Hell if I know.
What you ask is already implemented and works fine (I just checked). It requires that both the applications *and* the launcher supports startup notification. It means that the application must support startup notification, the panel and the windiw manager must be compiled with startup notification support (default if available), and at last the option must be active in the launcher. If all these criteria are met, then it works.
Closing an old bug that has been fixed for months.
