For situations where a genmon command only needs to be updated under specific circumstances or as the result of another program and not on a set timeframe, the "xfce4-panel --plugin-event=genmon-X:refresh:bool:true" command is useful. In this scenario, there is no need for a timer to be counting down to re-run the command. There is not currently an ability to disable the timer, but setting it to 86400.00 seconds is a workaround to make it update as rarely as possible. I propose some kind of setting such as "Never" or similar for when a timer isn't needed.
