A new mouse over file/folder highlighting feature appears to have been imported from Windows 10. This makes the user interface annoying (this UI enhancement has not been properly tested by Microsoft). At the very least the user should be given the option to disable this feature.

What does the effect look like? Which Thunar version and GTK theme are you using?
