Hi! I've been using Ubuntu LTS. I hid the Mousepad menu bar by accident, and couldn't figure out how to get it back. My machine wasn't connected to the Internet at the time. When the Mousepad menu bar is hidden, you can still access the app's System menu (a.k.a. "window menu" or "Control menu") by clicking the icon at the left edge of the title bar. This menu has items like Maximize, Minimize, Move, and Resize. I think I tried checking this menu for an option which would let me redisplay the menu bar, but I didn't find such an option. And so, my feature request: On the System menu, it would be good if you could please add an item called "Show Menubar". This item should be checked when the menubar is shown, and unchecked when the menubar is hidden. Users can use the "Show Menubar" menu item to hide and show the menu bar. Thanks in advance!
Cc'ing Igor, since he kindly fixed a similar feature request a few years ago (bug 13231).
