Created attachment 9325 Warning on browse network. I see the warning in the screenshot when clicking "Browse network" for the first time in a session. This only happens once in a session unless I kill gvfs-smb.
Does this happen with other file managers also? Nautilus, Nemo, Caja,...
Hello Theo. I just tried Caja. The same delay is there but it eventually shows the "Windows Network" icon without a warning. There was even a spinning wheel icon next the panel entry on Caja to tell me that there is something happening in the background. So the warning is only in Thunar but the delay is in both.
