When panel plugin uses icon+label, changing fonts from the UI settings dialog can cause it to hang and use all of CPU, apparently related to scaling the icon.

This depends on the length of the label too. I think it is caused by the same as
http://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1325 as the backtrace is very similar.
