For some reason, thunar-media-tag-plugin starts indexing my external harddisk. This not only creates noise for hours, while I want it to sit idle, it also creates thousands of disk head motions, which is NOT WANTED AT ALL. This is a disk I use for archiving purposes, and I want to PROTECT it from unneccesary accesses. Still, media tags seems to wait for 10 minutes or so, and then starts accessing ALL files on the disk? Please provide a setup or GUI option to DISABLE scanning my disks without explicit request to do so.
