Seems like run/execute/launch is used to start a file in different programs. In appfinder the button to start the application is called Launch. Also there is the "Run Program..." .desktop file. But in Thunar its called Execute in the File menu. Should Thunar use run or launch instead of execute? Here are some strings from Thunar: Failed to execute application \"%s\" Failed to execute file \"%s\" _Execute Execute the selected file Execute the selected files The program to execute, possibly with arguments. I am translating the strings so it makes it a bit confusing when multiple words like run/execute/launch is used to describe what seems to be the same thing.
