Right click the panel and select Panel menu. It says: Add new items. Also the dialog says "add new" three times. It does not seem necessary to write new (or old) as we just want to add something. Maybe the menu item could even be just "Add..." but that might be confused with adding a new panel so maybe "Add items..." is better. At least i like to have very short strings. Here are some strings where "new" might be removed: Add _New Items... Add New Items Add new plugins to the panel Add New Item Show the 'Add New Items' dialog Failed to show the add new items dialog Add new item to this panel Add a new launcher to the panel based on the information of this desktop file This will create a new launcher plugin on the panel and inserts the dropped files as menu items. Create new launcher from %d desktop file Create new launcher from %d desktop files Please choose a panel for the new plugin: Add a new panel
