Overview: In Thunar, clicking 'Insert emoji' in the right-click context menu on the search box doesn't display an emoji dialog and causes Thunar to lock up. Steps to reproduce: 1) Ctrl-F or start typing to bring up search box. 2) Right-click in the box and select "Insert emoji" Expected results: Insert emoji dialog to appear Actual results Thunar is unable to be closed, type to search doesn't work, and no emoji dialog appears. Additional details: Clicking on a file icon allows you to search and close Thunar again. Fedora 30 (Xfce spin) Thunar 1.8.6 exo 0.12.5-1
I can reproduce, with Icons and Compact List views the search input just disappears, but with Detailed view Thunar is unresponsive, no error message, the CPU is at 0~1%.
Wow, didn't know that there was a "Inserrt emoji" menu. I can reproduce the problem, with a complete lock of thunar.
