The 'open with' dropdown doesn't appear to be editable by the user (docs for this app are scarce). It would be nice if these options were auto-populated into an editable file so users could change them, e.g.: mail recipient - I don't have one I don't think imagemagik - never use, not sure it's even installed firefox - not sure what that would do gimp - recent move to flatpak (https://www.gimp.org/downloads/) means old gimp install has to be removed. Flatpak doesn't replace it directly so this option remains but leads nowhere & one can't replace it. Which is a shame. Just realised that v1.9.5 is out & I'm 1.8.2 - haven't seen this anywhere other than bug file pre-submission info so maybe that could be improved in the docs or something, in case various bugs have been resolved and features added? +1 Open with GIMP is now broken if you keep GIMP up to date. E.g. on 2.10, the launch command in .desktop is: /usr/bin/flatpak run --branch=stable --arch=x86_64 --command=gimp-2.10 --file-forwarding org.gimp.GIMP @@u %U @@ The dropdown in screenshooter still offers gimp, but nothing happens when selected.
I installed GIMP as flatpak and did not encounter this problem. Launch command is the same. xfce4-screenshooter 1.9.5 Xubuntu 19.10 (dev)
Possibly a dup of Bug 13886, please update the latest release.
I don't think it's a dupe of 13886, though I don't fully understand that bug! I'm hoping to be able to edit the 'open with' list that screenshooter has. Currently my list includes 2 firefoxes, WINE, and imagemagik, all of which I would like to remove. Previously it contained 2 GIMPs, the original and flatpak, and I didn't know which was which. I have 1.9.5. Just downloaded 1.9.6 but can't install it: "./configure" gives : "bash: ./configure: No such file or directory" Please could you add some details to the readme file for future releases? Thanks!

Note that 1.9.6 (released yesterday) depends on libxfce4ui 4.14.0 but configure.ac.in wasn't updated, a new release will follow during the week.
