Sorry, I am not sure what you want to archive. Which terminal you want to "anchor" ? Where in thunar you want to ancher it exactly, and why ? How that is related to the archive-plugin ?
He probably wants an embedded terminal, however this is not possible with the current ThunarX API.

This was the last attempt to introduce this feature: https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11319 I would not oppose it as a plugin but this is not viable at the moment. As I said ThunarX API does not support anything like this. The other approach is to introduce it directly into Thunar, in this case I would be against, you know one more hard dependency, bloat, "now why not open web pages in Thunar?", etc... I'm closing this bug, but if you ever come up with an implementation of this as a plugin, of course also extending ThunarX API, I will gladly review it.
