For example, when I'm next to the wireless router the plugin displays 102% of
signal and iwconfig says: "Link Quality=94/100"

I use the package xfce4-wavelan-plugin (0.4.1-3build1) and my wireless card is
an Intel Corp. PRO/Wireless LAN 2100 3B Mini PCI Adapter (rev 04).

I have just fixed this bug.

The code previously assumed that the upper bound was fixed, it now queries the interface. The fix is in svn revision 2323. It will be included in the upcoming 0.5.4 release.

James, why are you keeping this bug open? And please upload 0.5.4 to berlios site so it can be version bumped in Gentoo.

Just as a side note: We don't use BerliOS anymore (at least for most goodies). Releases are now hosted on http://goodies.xfce.org/releases/.
