Description of problem: A long time after Xscreensaver puts moniotor to sleep, xfdesktop will crash, and it crashes immediately when monitor is powered off. This is just the latest symptom after over two years of similar problems. ABRT analysis fails, but I have many coredumps. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): xfdesktop-4.13.2-20.fc29.x86_64 How reproducible: Frequently occurs when I'm not around the computer, though I cannot trigger it at will, except when I power off the monitor. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Enable Xfce PM 2. Wait for an hour. Actual results: xfdesktop core dump Expected results: no core Additional info: For a long time (2+ years), monitor PM has been broken in Xfce on AMDGPU. Xscreensaver used to work, but since this problem started, neither it nor Xfce Power Manager can be used without Xfce DE issue recurring, symptoms vary. Xscreensaver PM doesn't work at all, and Xfce PM regularly causes xfdesktop to coredump. It doesn't occur exactly concurrent with PM events, but very close to these events. Hmm, this matches my symptoms, but is not fixed.
