Filed at Fedora's bugzilla: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1648818 Advised to file upstream, so here it is. Mouse scroll doesn't work in windows like the 'select style' window of the Appearance window. Mouse scroll works elsewhere like firefox, file manager, etc., including the settings window itself. But once clicking into items like Appearance, Window Manager, the style list won't scroll with mouse. Steps to Reproduce: 1. login to xfce 2. start setting manager 3. choose Appearance 4. Scroll the style list using mouse Actual results: nothing happened Expected results: list scroll

Yes, it looks like so, thanks for the pointer. I'll test the workaround on Monday - the affected box is in the office.
Cool, let us know if it fix your issue !
It did! Both workarounds of "clicking the mouse and then scroll" and "$ GDK_CORE_DEVICE_EVENTS=1 xfce4-settings-manager" work for me, thanks.
Thanks for responding that the workaround fixed it for you. Reassigning this bug as a duplicate. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 14285 ***
