https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zmUerhLQlEI&t=7s Linux Mint 18.3 Xfce 64-bit xfce4-display-settings bug. When initially started it shows one monitor present and mirroring off when in reality it has two monitors and mirroring on. Toggling mirror refreshes the sate and both monitors then show. See youtube video link above. PS also built the package from source, it just segfualts.
I can confirm this bug. In fact, came here to report exactly the same thing. Will upload screenshots demonstrating the issue.
