To reproduce:
- Open a terminal window
- Run sleep 5; wmctrl -a Terminal
- Within those 5 seconds, open whisker menu
- When the terminal window gets focus, click on the search field in the still-open whisker menu.  The whisker menu does not regain focus from the terminal.  When you type, it goes to the terminal instead of the whisker menu.  You can still interact with the whisker menu in other ways, clicking through menus, etc, but you can't regain keyboard focus from the terminal.

I often encounter this problem when trying to launch multiple things at once from the whisker menu.  When entering long search actions, it can be a major frustration because you lose everything you were typing and need to start over.
