I am using xfdesktop version 4.12.3 under Linux Gentoo. The window to select the background image is totally broken: - it is impossible to navigate to most folders - the "search" box does nothing - the images in the existing folders are not shown and cannot be selected
This appears to be related to a problem with xfdesktop which is persistent in xfdesktop 4.12.4-1 The selection box for both wallpaper and for the screensaver is labeled "Folder", and will either not display or will not open sub-folders and non-image files. Reassigning to Xfdesktop
The initial bug (from 2017) has be fixed by #12832 and has been released in 4.12.4 and 4.13.x. @Jonathan , can you be more specific ? I don't understand your problem, and xfdesktop does not have any "screensaver" feature. Can you post a screenshot or more explanations ? And maybe open a new bug if it is not related to this one.
