I noticed a few menu item appear with english text even though they have been translated to my language. If i install Debian 9 with both GNOME and Xfce. In GNOME the menu item says the correct translated text "Diskforbrugsanalyse" (Name[da]="Diskforbrugsanalyse"). But in Xfce it says the english text "Disc Usage Analyzer" (Name="Disc Usage Analyzer"). So i checked the /usr/share/applications/org.gnome.baobab.desktop file and see that "Name" without language code comes last which seems to make Xfce select it: Name[da]="Diskforbrugsanalyse" Name="Disc Usage Analyzer" If the lines are reverced Xfce selects the [da] translation: Name="Disc Usage Analyzer" Name[da]="Diskforbrugsanalyse"
Re-assigning to garcon, as that is what the panel's applications menu is relying on (it doesn't do anything that would account for such an issue).
