When the cursor is held over the three leftmost buttons on the control panel (Previous Track, Pause/Play and Next Track) for five seconds, the control panel will disappear. However, in my experience, the control panel seems to remain open indefinitely with the cursor held over any other control elements on the panel (Progress slider, Volume, Full Screen, and Show/Hide Playlist) This behavior also disregards whether said buttons are being pressed. For example, while clicking through multiple tracks in a playlist without moving the cursor, the control panel may disappear on the user.
Indeed, I can confirm this behavior. Not really sure why this is happening after briefly browsing the hide_controls_timeout related code in player.c.
