I depend on Orage to keep me reminded of appointments and bill-payment deadlines. Version 4.10 and before have always worked properly, but I'm in the process of moving from Xubuntu 14.04.5 to Xubuntu 16.04.2, which takes my copy of Orage to 4.12 -- and the dynamic icon option has no effect at all on my taskbar display. In addition, where mousing over the icon on earlier versions displays a drop-down list of next active alarms, on the new version I get only a tool-tip shown. Is this change in behavior by design, or is it a bug or possibly two different bugs? It greatly reduces the utility of the plug-in for me.
This happens only when I have selected the "show in taskbar" option in the preferences. When I display it in the systray, only, it works as before. Perhaps it's only a documentation problem, with a warning needed in the help pages for the plug-in! No longer a major problem for me, but needs examination someday to improve the quality of the app.
