Computer: Latitude 7370 16GB ram, 1TB sata m.2, core m7 OS: Mint 18 XFCE Kernel: 4.8.7-040807-generic Architecture: amd64 Current Desktop: XFCE If the computer is not on AC power when put into suspend and while resuming the computer will restart. This happens regardless if it is due to a lid close, power button, or through XFCE suspend menu. Hibernate works as it should. I've tried changing to non-fastboot in bios and don't see anything wrong in dmesg or pm-suspend.log I found the following link and their suggestion to disable xfce4-power-manager then re-enabling it works: https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2313660 It is similar to: http://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/291546/laptop-reboots-instead-of-resuming-from-systemd-suspend-when-on-battery-power-s http://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/252679/asus-ux303ua-rebooting-instead-of-resuming-from-suspend-ubuntu-15-10 https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=108801
