Hi XFCE,

if relative paths are used for desktop icons in .desktop-files like
[Desktop Entry]
 Icon=paraview.png
[...]
xfdesktop does not use the icon, which is located in XDG_DATA_DIRS/icons/.
But if you open the properies dialog with right-click, the correct icon is shown.

In contrast, if the same .desktop-file is used for the application menu the icon is shown as expected, even if they are located in $XDG_DATA_DIRS/icons/.
No absolute path is needed here.

It would be great, if xfdesktop would display icons located in $XDG_DATA_DIRS/icons on the desktop, too.

xfdesktop --version:
This is xfdesktop version 4.10.3, running on Xfce 4.10.

Built with GTK+ 2.24.22, linked with GTK+ 2.24.28.
Build options:
    Desktop Menu:        enabled
    Desktop Icons:       enabled
    Desktop File Icons:  enabled
