It would be a great enhancement if the user could enable a history for the launch of programs. A modification of the search bar would offer the possibility that by typing the first letters of a program, whisker menu will launch the corresponding program which was launched most in the past and not the first search result. For example in Windows 7 the start menu "learns" which programs are your favorite ones. And so if you type for example "Xf" and then press enter, the whisker menu will start the program which was started the post times (Xfmedia e.g.) in the past and not the first search result in alphabetic order (Xfburn e.g.). By the way thank you very much for the most useful XFCE Plugin for my desktop :)! Peter
The git version already sorts search results in favorites first, and then search results in recently used next, and finally all of the rest of the search results. I'm not a big fan of tracking the number of times a program is launched to determine where it belongs in the search results, and that would conflict with the current code.
I meant to close this when I commented before. Oops. As stated, the git version already shows the favorites and recent items first.
