Created attachment 6539 Thunderbird address Autocomplete popup not visible - clipped to 4px height every other key pressed When I writing new letter in Thunderbird. I'm slowly typing, let's say, "elena.smirnova@..." in "To" field in message compose window, making a second long pause after each character. When I type "e" and wait for a half a second, a popup with 3 addresses appears. Then I type "l" and wait - popup almost disappears, only top 4 pixels of it are vivsible. And later on any letter typed popup is clipped to 4 pixels. This bug is XFCE specific. In GNOME(Fedora 23), KDE(Kubuntu 15.10), LXDE (Lubuntu 15.10) as well as in Windows everything works fine. OS Xubuntu 14.04 (also Xubuntu 15.10) Thunderbird 38.3.0
Weird, I don't see that with thunderbird 38.3.0 on Fedora 23.
Can you try with the default gtk+ theme (Adwaita)?
On Adwaita theme everything looks fine. Probably the problem is in Greybird theme which is default in Xubuntu. Will open this bug on Launchpad. Thank you for help!
