These are the steps to reproduce the bug: 1. Open Thunar for example in your home directory 2. Create a new tab and change to a sub-folder inside your home-directory 3. Switch back to the first tab (home-directory) and move a file to the folder you opened in the second tab by dragging it into that folder. 4. Inconsistency: The file disappears and shortly after reappears. Looking at the second tab, the file is not listed until you reload (ctrl-r). After that the file in the first tab is correctly deleted from the view.
I cannot reproduce this. Is this a bug in the new thunar version or do older versions suffer from this too?
The versions I checked are 1.6.10 and 1.6.9 and both are affected by the issue.
That does not help much. You need to test older versions or do a git bisect (starting with e.g. 1.6.5, 1.6.0 or perhaps earlier, but then it may also be that it has existed since the beginning). But that would also only help if you can trace it back to a certain version/commit. Otherwise, nothing I can do. Please reopen when you can provide more useful information.
