When a remote directory (e.g. sftp://) is opened, it is not being updated consistently. This is apparent when file operations are being performed. Example: I can move a file out of a remote directory, however it will still be shown as present until F5 is pressed manually. Example 2: I modify a remote file with a local program. The modification date displayed by Thunar will not change. Pressing F5 also does not update the date. I have to leave the folder and return for the date to finally be updated!
It also happens sometimes (not always!) when I delete files/folders with Thunar on a remote machine. The object is still shown despite the fact that I just deleted it, until I press F5.
Will be improved in the next release (thunar-1.6.7). Try that when it's out and feel free to reopen otherwise.
I've just tested 1.6.7 Pressing refresh now seems to have an effect (btw, why is the default key for refresh not F5 anymore? that's bound to piss some people off :P ) As for the problem in the first example, this one remains unchanged however.
