Hi, we have people using LXDE (including the asking for XFPM to support their desktop, by adding LXDE to the OnlySHowIn field in /e/x/autostart/xfce4-power-manager.desktop (and maybe also the settings in /u/s/applications/xfce4-power-manager-settings.desktop). Downstream bug is at http://bugs.debian.org/674439 Considering it's a matter of preferences, I'd prefer upstream to decide on this :)
