The color of the slider is always applied from the current theme, regardless of the "Use default color" setting. This is inconvenient because with some themes the background of the slider and the slider itself gets a very similar color (or even the same). This renders it barely visible.

I just checked and xfce4-systemload-plugin is affected by this too.

They are on my system. I can see various colors for the graph in xfce4-cpugraph-plugin and various colors for the text in xfce4-sensors-plugin, but the progress bar widgets in both use the theme default.
