Hi, On Xubuntu 14.04, with Thunar the "delete" deletes the element directly, but on the Destop "delete" put it to the bin. It's confusing and a data lost can occur with this kind of translation which are the same for different behaviour (In French at least, both are translated by "Supprimer"). Thanks for your job ! Ben
An option for translator is put on "send to trash" for the non destructive and "delete permanentrly" for the destructive. With exeption of translation concistency I thing that string change will be enough
Indeed, it might be clearer, but still on the desktop, there's is "delete" which "send to trash". I think this is the most disturbing (comparing to "delete" in Thunar which delete permanently) In Thunar and on the desktop "delete" doesn't have the same behaviour. Thanks for all ! Ben
