Created attachment 5479 Screenshot of Nautilus thumbnail limit size Having problem with tumblerd crashing because it attempts to generate thumbnails for files who's size exceeds available memory. If a "limit thumnail size" feature could be added such as the one depicted in the attached png; a quick drop down that you choose in MB how large to limit processed file that receive thumbnails. This feature is available in nautilus.
You can tune the MaxFileSize in tumbler.rc, see https://docs.xfce.org/xfce/thunar/tumbler
I think having an option like the above in Thunar would be nice and user friendly. @Skunnyk, maybe we should assign it to as a feature request for Thunar, what do you think?-
