A newly created launcher is not visible on the desktop, but it is listed in Thunar. Dragging and dropping an existing launcher from the application menu seems to work fine at first. However, editing this launcher also lets it disappear from the desktop. xfdesktop 4.11.5 (git/master)
Created attachment 5419 Fix issues with file move events This patch is what I intended for the last patch. I've tested it with a couple conditions that have caused issues in the past such as creating launchers, moving files to subfolders on the desktop, downloading a small and a large file in firefox (since that creates a temporary file, the does a rename where-as the small file does not). Let me know if this patch works for you and if you find another issue with it. Thanks!
