When changing password in Xfce-Settings -> Users and Groups, and supplying a "too simple" password (e.g. "a12345"), the application might hang. On the first time the application says "Password too simple", on the second try, the application hangs, until you close it. I could reproduce that on two machines (one KVM beta2 and on Laptop ) running Xubuntu 14.04 and one Laptop running Xubuntu 13.10. Just learned from the Ubuntu Ticket: "Thaddäus Tintenfisch (thad-fisch) wrote: Users and Groups is not developed or maintained by the Xfce team. It is an application provided by gnome-system-tools which is not maintained anymore." So closing this issue.
