Created attachment 5284 The patch adding support for multi-row panels. xfce4-panel 4.10 supports multi-row/column layout. If number of rows is larger than 1, "small" plugins (which present themselves as a single icon) are expected to lay them out in a single row, rather than occupy the whole panel height/width. Attached patch fixes that while preserving compatibility with libxfce4panel 4.8. Ján, I've seen you want to quit maintaining this plugin. Thank you for your works so far - I've found the plugin very useful in its current shape. Would it be possible for you to release a new version with changes (hopefully including this patch) you have made since 1.2?
Sorry, I don't have write access to the mailawtch git repository any more. Goodbye.
Mass-reassign all bugs from florian@ to goodies-dev@, thanks for the maintenance work! (and sorry for the bugmail spam..)
it seems this request is quite old. I'm using xfce 4.12 and it seems this feature is still not implemented.
Well it was merged in https://git.xfce.org/panel-plugins/xfce4-mailwatch-plugin/commit/?id=07875cdfe5612a6d43e9d3eae79820d50b00024a. But since mailwatch doesnt have a maintainer anymore, it's not been released to end-users.....
