Created attachment 5251 Various screenshots with icons With Parole 0.5.90, when symbolic icons are used with greybird theme, contrast is not quite articulate. See my montage in attachment.
Created attachment 5252 Screenshot of Greybird 1.2.2 and Gtk3.8 Hey Olivier, what version of the Greybird theme and Gtk3 are you using exactly? I assume you're referring to the playlist-buttons which have problematic contrast – the playback stuff seems fine. In any case, this is not a bug in Parole, but in Greybird. The only reason I'm letting this slip for now and don't mark the bug invalid is because I'm also Greybird's author/maintainer :) Check my screenshot/attachment for how it's supposed to look and how it looks in Xubuntu 13.10 onwards (Parole 0.6 will hopefully be shipped with Xubuntu 14.04, but we won't strive for backwards compatibility, as it can be problematic, see e.g. https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9902)

I use: - Greybird 1.2.2 (xfwm4 and Gtk2/Gtk3 themes), http://www.freshports.org/x11-themes/greybird-theme/ - Gtk3 3.8.2 I'm also maintainer of Greybird theme under FreeBSD. - gnome-icon-theme-symbolic 3.6.2 (synchronized with our default version of gnome-icon-theme) - elementary-xfce 0.3 > > In any case, this is not a bug in Parole, but in Greybird. Oh nice to hear :) I didn't even know Greybird ever made it to FreeBSD! > - gnome-icon-theme-symbolic 3.6.2 (synchronized with our default version of > gnome-icon-theme) > - elementary-xfce 0.3 Hm, this is very awkward. I'll have to ask around whether anyone can reproduce this bug in Xubuntu and if not, we'll have to see whether it's something distro-specific...

Hum, it's only my fault, I tested with SVG images (in my previous test, I used PNG images) and everything is fine. Sorry for the noise
