Please don't mute when the volume reaches zero while using the mouse scroll wheel on the system tray volume control icon. The problem is that this triggers bug #8583.

When rolling the volume down like this, "Master" and "Headphone" are muted when I reach zero. But when I start to roll the volume up, only "Master" is unmuted, so there is no longer any sound. So I have to open the mixer window and unmute "Headphone" manually. The same problem happens also for the "Speaker" output, as long as my headset is not plugged in.

Btw, this also happens when dragging the "Master" volume fader up and down, so it is not only with mouse wheel usage.

Why is there a need to mute the sound anyway, when the volume has reached zero? I'm perfectly happy controlling the mute function myself using the mute buttons.

I'm on xfce4-mixer 4.10.0-2 in Debian Sid, but this version is not available as an option in this Bugzilla.
