Currently Thunar opens the / of remote servers when connecting to ssh://user@server. It would be nicer (and I would assume more intuitive) if the user were forwarded to /home/user instead, as happens when mounting via sshfs or accessing via ssh in the terminal.
+1 Just a note that a hard redirect to /home/user/ isn't the wanted solution (with many hosts you won't have a real /home-dir). Instead, Thunar should mount to whatever mountpoint specified as the "home" for the logged in user.
Yes, this would be much better and I remember this is what nautilus does. It seems thunar does not support "ssh://user@server:" syntax.
